On September 10, local time, the RE+ (Solar Power International) exhibition was held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, USA. This is the largest solar energy exhibition in North America and one of the most influential international exhibitions in the global solar industry. CALB showcased its comprehensive energy storage solutions for large-scale power, commercial and industrial applications, as well as residential use, making a significant impact in the U.S. market.
As a battery expert, CALB has been dedicated to promoting energy transition and technological innovation. In 2023, the company took the lead in defining and globally launching the 314Ah high-energy, long-life energy storage cell and supporting solutions, which have been recognized by customers in overseas markets and have seen large-scale shipments. At this exhibition, CALB comprehensively presented its newly launched “Zhijiu” series energy storage products to the North American market.
The second-generation 314Ah 2.0 energy storage cell achieved a groundbreaking cycle life of 15,000 cycles for mass-produced products, with zero degradation for the first 1,000 cycles. Complementing this, the company developed a 373kWh liquid-cooled outdoor cabinet for large-scale commercial and power storage, as well as a standard 20-foot 5MWh liquid-cooled container.
The commercial energy storage system solution, using a single cabinet design, boasts an overall lifespan of 15 years, with a charge-discharge efficiency of up to 95%. It supports peak shaving, frequency regulation, harmonic control, and high-performance applications such as integrated wind-solar-storage systems. The 5MWh liquid-cooled container uses industry-leading component design to achieve higher usable energy and efficiency, lowering initial setup costs. Its multiple environmental adaptability and reliability under complex conditions enhance system availability, complying with and exceeding strict standards such as UL, IEC, and NFPA, thus meeting diverse customer needs.
The newly launched 392Ah energy storage cell is fully compatible with the existing 5MWh container production line, representing the best solution for a 6.25MWh container in the industry and the fastest to achieve mass production of systems over 6MWh. Additionally, the next-generation large-capacity 625Ah+ energy storage cell, featuring an energy density of over 440Wh/L, can further meet the needs of 6.8MWh+ (20-foot container) energy storage, maximizing investment returns for power plants.
Furthermore, to address peak shaving and valley filling for residential users, CALB showcased its 5kWh low-voltage stacked products and 2.7kWh high-voltage all-in-one home storage systems.
As global demand for sustainable energy continues to grow, energy storage technology is becoming key to achieving energy transition. With its strong technical foundation and innovative capabilities in the energy storage field, CALB is leading the industry toward a more efficient and environmentally friendly future, contributing significantly to global low-carbon energy transition efforts!
