On September 9, 2024, the United States subsidiary of Ruppilanjun was officially opened in Irvine, California, at the same time, Ruppilanjun participated in the 2024 United States International Photovoltaic Energy Storage Exhibition RE+, and officially released the Wending 564Ah battery and Powtrix energy storage system for overseas markets, bringing safer and more efficient solutions for the global green energy transition.
The 564Ah battery adopts Ruipu Lanjun's global original "Wending" technology, the application of double high electrode, with high energy efficiency, high consistency, zero attenuation, long life and other characteristics.
Relying on the innovative "top" design, the Rupu Lanjun 564Ah cell reduces the redundancy of the pole ear by improving the bending mode of the pole ear, reducing the DC internal resistance of the cell by 16%, the energy efficiency can reach 96.4%, and the internal space utilization rate can be increased by about 5%, effectively improving the energy density and safety of the cell. Ruepu Lanjun 564Ah cell also uses double high solid-liquid interface technology, the ion migration rate increased by 30% in addition, the 564Ah battery adopts surface technology, through the development of a new process, breaking through the mass production problem of lithium replenishing technology, the application of low-attenuation high-profit lithium technology, reduce the loss of lithium ions during the first charge, improve the efficiency and energy density of the battery.
In terms of service life, the 564Ah battery has been customized for the long-term energy storage needs of more than 4h, which can achieve 10,000 + ultra-long cycle life and 25-30 years ultra-durable calendar life, and solve the problems such as thermal loss and overcharge, which are common in large-capacity batteries, providing users with a safe, efficient and reliable product experience.
In terms of reliability and durability, the RuppL Powtrix energy storage system has excellent performance, the system has IP55+C5 protection corrosion rating, can effectively resist dust, water splash and hot and humid environment erosion, sand and salt spray, cope with easily. The internal components of the system are all evaluated according to the long-term high temperature aging of 60°C, which is extremely weather-resistant and performs well. At the same time, the system adopts active balancing technology, compared with passive balancing, the balancing capacity is increased by 20 times, the energy is saved by 150 times, and the single cluster can reduce the operation and maintenance cost by 80%.
In terms of power safety, the RUppL Powtrix energy storage system supports thermoelectric separation, short circuit flash protection, external short circuit detection and battery opening valve detection. In terms of thermal safety, the Powtrix energy storage system has excellent passive safety performance in the comprehensive UL 9540A test evaluation, and applies both module and system firefighting strategies to suppress fire at the earliest stage, minimizing the thermal diffusion and fire risk of the battery system.
Compared with the traditional 5MWh energy storage system, the energy density is increased by 20%, the floor area is reduced by 16.6%, and the investment is saved by 15.7%. In terms of safety performance, the RuppL 6MWh energy storage system meets a number of widely used standards in the United States, including NEC, NPFA68/69/70, NFPA855, IEEE693, and performs well in large-scale fire assessment tests, and the forced fire range can be controlled in the expected range.
Powtrix products combine the technical characteristics of mainstream PCS equipment and the layout requirements of overseas customers, and support two optional forms of bottom outlet and end outlet in the output interface design. At the same time, it supports different wiring forms of single channel bus output and multi-channel independent output, and can take into account the wiring methods of PCS of different brands and different architectures, fully meeting the system collocation needs of overseas customers, and achieving grid-friendly, system-friendly and battery-friendly.
In addition to the Powtrix product family as described above, Ripple will also launch its flagship version. Based on the current 300Ah+ series of cells supplied in mass production, the same chemical system design is applied, and only the size is fine-tuned to achieve the entire cabin capacity of 6.25MWh. From cell to assembly, the product adopts a full set of 300Ah+ series approximate design scheme, with a stable chemical system, mature process route, reliable system integration, rapid mass production and other advantages, will become the pioneer and flagship version of 6MWh family products to serve customers.
