The main function of the grid-connected inverter is to convert the direct current generated by the photovoltaic array into usable alternating current. Hybrid inverters go a step further by pairing them with batteries to store excess power. In developing countries, hybrid inverters are critical to compensate for weak, intermittent or no grid power at all. Our inverters are available in a variety of configurations, including single-phase models from 3 to 16kW and three-phase models from 8 to 12kW. The SUN-3K-SG04LP1-24-EU model uses a 24V battery pack, while other models use a 48V battery. Notably, the SUN-16K-SG01LP1-EU is the largest single-phase hybrid inverter on the global market.
